Agree on the leaf blower! Works great! Makes the job so much easier.

Wow I must be the only person in the world that drys his bike with a towel!

I use paper towels, the kind that don't leave bits behind, I have also used my air compressor, then a quick ride.

Metro Air Force Pet Dryer. Has a filter, blows heated air and can be had for ~70$. I've tried the leaf blower. This is much better.

Then just hit the chrome/paint with some detail spray and you're done. Very few water spots.

Google "Metro Quick Draw", Bed Bath/Beyond has it. Anyone that buys anything at that store without using a 20% off coupon is wasting money also. 71$ +tax.

+1 on the Stihl leaf blower and thanks to you guys I can show my wife just how not crazy that is!

Love the looks of the Metro Vac which got me to thinking if I can just find a diverter valve for my Vac u Flo Central vacuum system, I could use the exhaust side of that as a blower and since its already in the garage all I have to do is run a line off the exhaust to the front of the garage where I dry my bike.

Just what I needed...another project!

I run a well laundered soft towel over the bike to remove a majority of the water, then switch to cloth diapers to detail it out.

Air Shammy
www.airshammy.com
Its the same as the other air blasters but cheaper, made in the U.S.A.
Warm, dry, oil free air, small nozzle fits in crevices and it doesn't make me deaf.
I've tried both, now I use my leaf blowers for my leaves.

Last spring I used an electric leaf blower. Haven't done it yet this year.
