Just started using my leaf blower. Learned about that on previous threads about drying the bike.

leaf blower and then my 16 Y/O daughter uses a microfiber towel and I pay her $10 - both work like a champ!

Scratches don't just happen on bikes. They are from you touching it. So the less you touch the bike the less scratch and swirl marks you will have. Blower works great

Leaf blower here too. Glad I learned the trick early on. ;-)

80 MPH down I-94.
Wash it at the shop, we have RO water for rinse, so no water spots.
By the time I get home there's usually nothing left to dry.

Stihl leaf blower here as well. Follow up with a clean, damp fibre cloth. The leaf blower is cheaper than the Blaster and I get to use it to blow leaves (imagine that) and light snow off the driveway and sidewalks in the winter.

Wash, dry with leaf blower, wax, then wipe all the chrome with cheap rubbing alcohol...cleans the chrome nicely, no residue.

Leaf blower for the bulk of it, microfiber cloth for the fine stuff.
