Well after hearing all the glowing reviews of the Air Force product, I just ordered the mid model off e bay. Had a few bucks in the account and decided that drying the bike is such a pain, it'd be worth it. Hope it lives up to all the hype!!
I'm surprised. I had always heard leaf blowers, shop vacs, compressors were horrible to use on your bike, if your particular. Definitely use big microfibers and dry lightly especially red or black paint, to avoid those fine scratches.
I'm going to get something to air dry one of these days.
why are they horrible. ive been using for a decade and never had any issues with my road bikes or mx bikes. sitting water is the worst thing on any bike and if put away in a garage without getting all water off, you will rust somewhere for sure

Many gas blowers exhausts exits through the blower tube and can leave residue on the bike.
Leaf blower for me as well... to get as much water out of the nooks and crannies as I can... then and usually an ultra quick wipe of the painted and chrome surfaces with a micro-fiber towel.
I always use the combination air from compressor shammy and a microfiber, but I picked up a little electric blower just so I don't have to dry near compressor or drag out a longer hose. All I know is a touring bike has a sh*# load of nooks and crannies to dry
X3....purchased 7 years ago, still works like new. Better than a leaf blower IMHO. Filters the air, no threat of fine particals hitting your paint. The air is slightly heated for faster drying, especially during the cold months. It also works drying cars. One of the better maintenance purchases you can make. By the way, I don't work for anyone related to dryer.
