I purchase the billet engine guard foot peg mounting kit and foot pegs. I was then told that I need the bolt kit p/n 94133-01. Does anyone know the exact size of these bolts because I have a local hardware store that has a whole section of chrome hardware. I'm not trying to be cheap but $25 is ridiculous for two bolts, two nuts and two washers. Thank you in advanced.

 

Why don't you drive to the hardware, if you are in warm weather, and see what bolt fits the best, i'm sure you can walk out to the parking lot to make sure they fit, before you buy.

 

That will have to wait. Too much sand and salt on the roads right now.

 

looking at the fitment for those, they say 'fits all male mount footpegs', so looked up the footpegs on a dyna and the bolts are 3/8 -16 x 1-1/2''. plus corresponding nylon locknut.

 

I had the same problem the other day and tried the mentioned size in stainless steel. The 3/8-16 x 1-1/2" fits perfect and cost only around $5.00 and not insane $25.00 as from HD directly.
