How to remove rocker switch panel?
#2
Normally on those models you have to pull the switch and simply remove the four bolts total on the sides. The pics aren't the best, I'm having a problem seeing if the whole switch has been removed. Once you remove it, do not use the switch unless you have the tool to realign the switches.

Remove the nut in the centre. Remove the collar assy noting which way it is installed. Then remove plastic spacer. Remove two screws on the side of the switch panel. Lift up and out. Disconnect harness. to remove switches, remove the torx screws holding the bracket on. Installation is reverse of removal.

A decent parts schematic would come in handy...
You could look at the parts diagram, and see what attaches to what. That's what I do, using this site:

Put year/model in drop down menu, then you can navigate the section menu to look at any part of your bike, even get a part number and OEM MSRP . If you like, you could even order from them...

Exactly what needs to be done...
