Flashes when bike is not running and parked - light goes out at start up and while riding - sounds like a small issue , maybe in programming

if the key stays light up all the time, you have a current TSSM code.

When you find out let me know. Mine just came on this weekend. I installed a new headlight and added a fuelpak, but that was it for electrical work. I really don't know.

if you have LED lights without a load equalizer, the red key light will come on the first time you use your turn signals, and it will stay on until you shut the bike off. If I did not use my turn signals the red key would not come on. At least thats what I found out on my 11 SG after I installed Custom Dynamics LED turn signals. Installed the equalizer and problem was solved.

I used the blue one from Custom Dynamics. It's plug n play. Costs about $50, but it does the job. I'd say the one your using isn't doing the job.

I would check for a pinched lighting wire. Any fuses blown?
