Just before my warranty expired, I decided to buy the 5 year ESP because I like to go on long trips. A week after I bought it, I found a screw in the front tire and took it to my local HD Dealership for replacement. No sweat, $50 for a new tire would have cost $400 retail. Another week later on a trip, I hit something on the freeway and killed the rear tire. I needed a tow and another trip to a dealer 1,000 miles from home (Thanks Livermore HD for getting me in and out so quickly) and had the rear replaced. Cost including the tow would have been $550. Less than one month into it, I'm very happy with my $1,425 investment.

 

From the looks of it they are still about $500 in the black, so you better break something else

Just kidding of course...glad it worked out for you. I bought an extra three years above the factory warranty, which just ended in December. We will see how I do. I also like the fact that my indy shop can honor it and I'm not stuck with the dealer if I don't want to be.
