Got my 01 Road King and have a ton invested in it so it ain't going anywhere. Buddy's keep telling me I need to lay off investing in the King and get another bike. Been wanting a Road Glide forever and today bought a 2005 Road Glide. Told the OL, honey, I finally got cruise control and a stereo. Then had to fess up I bought another bike and it cost me 10K. So I will be in the dog house for a while but once she rides on it I think all will be okay. It was pretty plain Jane and sounded like a friggin Honda so I added V&H Big Radius, A Heavy Breather, stage 1 tune and chrome lowers. I will be picking it up tomorrow.

 

Remember Mike ... It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission ... You showed her who's boss so quit your sniveling and start groveling!

Guess I will be in the dog house for a while. But I will be picking up the bike in a few hours and I'm sure the grin on my face will help alleviate the demons with the OL. She is the sensible one while I am compulsive and live day by day, always shooting from the hip.... Matter of fact when they told me I needed to ring the bell I asked if I could shoot it instead.
