Default hidden antennas that really work

Hey guys. I removed the stock radio antenna cable and antenna and went for the hidden look. I had 3 already and when put side by side with stock set up no comparison, stock was way better. I think i will put it back to stock, tired of buying junk so anyone got the stock set up off a street glide, i can't find mine no where. thanks.

I have a Metra-Amplified from Best Buy. Works great. I attached it to the inside of fairing with Gorilla brand duct tape. I has stayed put for two years.

antennas work best vertical.

amplified antennas "amplify" noise and static at the exact same ratio as the broadcast "program"

antenna length is determined/ calculated by the wavelength of the frequencies desired ( 1/4 wave, 1/2 wave etc.)

I use a $8 rubber stubby from pepboys- it is flawless in the city and about 80% of what the stock antenna was when in the country.
It'll clear my tourpak if mounted, or I can swap back to stock..or mount the stubby on the tourpak ( I always get tangled in the antenna in my garage)

I,ll have to try something. haven't found a hidden antenna that works as advertised. back to the rear still sounds like the best bet.
