i am looking to buy a new front master cylinder. What is the best one to go with?

C'mon, we need more info than that! Why do you need a new one? If it is worn out replace with a new one, as The Warden suggests.

Stock ones come in chrome! Nothing wrong with them. Remember if you buy an aftermarket one you may not be able to readily get pads or parts for it if you breakdown somewhere and they have to order the parts.
