My experience is that...YES this is a common problem. In four orders I have yet to get one shipped in the first two weeks. The last order I made took a month. The reason given was Harley was out of production and Ronnies had to wait for resupply...
Having said that I did eventually get my order. The problem for me is that the local dealership is almost always out of stock too....GRRRRR.

Yes they are slow but I plan on that every time. Good prices and easy to order with there parts break downs.

I have placed five or six orders from Ronnies and found shipping to be consistent. If I ordered an item I expected my local dealer would have in stock, I received the order from Ronnies within three days. If it was a less common item, It normally took a week to ten days.

I imagine, like most dealers, they only stock items which will turn-over and can not afford to tie up money with a lot of stock which sits around on shelves forever.

I would like to see better communication from them such as stating "items in stock" or "items on special orders" just so I would know what to expect. Other than that, very pleased with my dealings with them.

Seems to me that it depends on what you order--great prices and once they send the product out it comes quickly. When I purchased some of my burst collection it took about 5-6 days before it was shipped...but I saved money and it's the off season up here in NY. Great to deal with though IMO

Stores are just middlemen for most transactions.
You place order and they process order and then it is shipped.
I have used them and had no problems.
If the factory has a problem then you wait.
