Default EZ Brake

I have a bad hip joint, though not bad enough to replace as yet. On my previous Heritage as well as the Ultra, being 275, 65 and 6'2', I've always had a rough time picking my entire leg up off ther board to get on the brake pedal. I bought a Kuryakan extended brake pedal arm and it helped a little. Since I was still having problems, I took a chance on an EZ Brake pedal arm. It really works well with my size 13 brogans. It is not hampered by the lower faring, either. Now, since the brake pedal is a good 2" forward and at least an inch lower, I no longer have to pick up my leg, my heel remains on the boardand now have enough room on the board without my foot being under the pedal. Those of you with big feet or joint problems or both will surely benefit from this device. One of the best accessories I have.

Sounds like that might help me also, I'm kinda in the same boat as you with the hip, my left is the bad one though. I'm going to try Mean City Cycles' seat remodel to raise me up and back. Maybe that'll keep me on the bike until I have to go under the knife.

I just installed mine last night. Getting ready to go on my first ride to work with it. I'll let you know how it feels.
