Sounds like a deal!! I did my 117" with EVERY high quality part needed from top to bottom and in between, the cost was about 10K when all was said and done. Very powerfull and very reliable so go for it! I would suggest using the Thundermax above anything else for a tuner.

It WILL be reliable....but I think you might have to do a little more and it will cost a few more $$$$. When you do a build like this, one thing leads to another, but what fun you will have!

Here's what will be unreliable: your tires.

you don't have to buy a powervision, jamie has it in the build cost that you buy a license and he tunes it with his powervision.

pretty sure that's y it says dyno tuned with PV in the things included

*UPDATE* I'm pretty sure I have this all wrong!

LAST UPDATE it has been confirmed, you can buy a PV or you can buy a license (199) for fuelmotos PV to tune your bike

Bump!
I'd also like any long term reviews on this set up. How do you ride? How many miles do you have? How do you like the package?

'Have a similar 117 to mike_oh (post 21-22 above) absolutely no issues so far, 1yr / 16k+ miles. Fairly aggressive 2-up "Sport Touring." It's a Blast, plenty of power everywhere...

If I'd known that S&S was coming out with their 124 Crate Motor in the CVO Granite, before I reached the point of no return on the 117 Build, I'd have gone that route, not for more power, probably less $$, and a warranty.
