Default Vented Windshields

Anyone use the Clearview windshield with the vent ? I have an Electra Glide with the stock shield. I like the shield, but I think it would be even better (Less buffeting) if it had a vent.

Has anyone tried a vented windshield on an Electra Glide by any manufacturer?

Seems to me, this would really help.

I just installed mine the other week, but haven't been out riding due to weather. I have the 10.5" Recurve with the vent in the normal position at the bottom. The view is optically clear so no distortion with the recurve. Vent seems nice and otherwise it looks like a windshield. PM me in a couple of weeks to ask me how I like riding with it. I hope to get out this weekend if the weather holds up.

Been using those since 2005 over 100K miles very pleased with Clearview product. Slightly open vent reduces wind buffeting.

I believe they work with cutting down the buffeting as well. It does wonders for eliminating the negative pressure behind the windshield that causes the turbulence. Here are a few pics of a 12" Clearview with a 5 position vent on my Limited.
