ipod and stock radio

I love my Iron Cross interface. So easy, not only can you use the radio controls on your bars and radio....the radio's display is used just like the Ipod's display. You se the album, playlist, or songs name.

Not a new idea, but it works, several of us were running that last year when another member posted it.

I have since installed the iPod connector kit, and ran the iPod into the saddlebag with the harley set up. I love it, so much better. Worth the money in my opinion.

The elcheepo way is this http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-5mm-Car-AU...item1c3a712364 you plug in to the AUX port, plug into a USB charger, and you can play and charge at the same time. Since you are not using the earphone jack on the iPod, you are getting nice clean line level output.
And it's only 5 bucks. I have one in my car.

If you really want to get fancy get the blue tooth adapter from miccus here is the link
the battery lasts about 8 hours or so but you can charge it while you ride..zero distortion.
Amazon.com: Miccus Mini-jack RX: Bluetooth Music Receiver pair it with Phones, Tablets, PCs and Apple Devices: MP3 Players & Accessories

Yup, the interface is the only way to go. Works like a charm. You can order it direct online from Iron Cross Audio. I sent my radio to them and had the backlighting changed to white, now I can actually see it at night!
