Default Engine noise

At cruising speeds of about 2500 to 3500 my bike seems to have fairly loud, at least very audible to me,engine or power train rattle or clicking(not pinging). The warmer the bike gets the more pronounced the sound becomes. The noise seems to be in most gears, at least 2nd through 5th. Is anyone else experiencing this with their '07?

It doesn't seem to be the tranny noise that others were saying about.

I have the same problem with my 2001 Road King, but mine is most noticeable whenI decelerate and the tach hits 2000 rpm. It's kind of like a chain noise, but seems to be more of a vibration issue. I've checked all the heat shield clamps for tightness, and I had the cam chain tensioners replaced last June, so I know that is not the problem. If you find out what your noise is, let me know.

Valve noise? I agree about checking heat shields though, when they are loose they can make a bunch of funny sounds. Motor mount maybe?
