Thanks and I agree, wish contast cut was more available 9 years ago when I bought them. But w the chrome now flaking (PM wheels) I am looking into it.

 

I never tire of showing off my latest version. It's slowly getting blacker but I might just be done.

I have numerous seats, a set of lowers and a chopped tour pack with chrome hinges, so the look changes depending on where and when I ride.

 

Sounds to me like you're a bit too worried about your bike being a fashion statement and keeping up with the latest fads to even enjoy it.

 

Have you considered using black chrome?

Oh crap, black chrome, that's definitely something he can love/hate at the same time, lol.

As you can see in my sig pic, my bike is mostly blacked out, probably 80%. I'm leaving what's chrome as is to break it up. Too much black or too much chrome is a bad thing IMO. I prefer black, because I am lazy and hate polishing chrome. My last bike was chromed out, wheels included. I swore I'd never have another shiny bike after I sold it.

 

Damn dude, you color matched the bottom of your boots to your bike. That's too cool. LOL.

 

To each his own. I like chrome. When I was a kid. I'm probably older then most of you guys. We painted the rims on our cars black, because we couldn't afford chrome wheels. Now black is (suppose to be) great. Not for me. Plus I think black is a dust collector. Harder to keep clean. Not saying some of the bikes don't look good, but I can afford chrome now and that's the way I roll.
