Default new brakes and rotors break in?????

Just put on polished rotors and new lyndal brake pads on the front. Prior to this my wheel spun freely when in the air. Now I get slight drag maybe a full spin if I spin it hard enough. They arent locked up or anything just a slight drag. Havent ridden it yet. Just pulled the brake lever a few times to get fluid back down to pistons after compressing pistons for pad replacement. Is this normal? Should I expect slight rub for a few miles.

Sounds normal but I'll let you know I'm putting on new rotors and Lyndall Z+ pads in the morning.

Installed my new rotors and pads this morning. Slight drag when spinning the wheel as expected. Went for a ride and couldn't hear anything from the brakes and they worked great. Also replaced all of the brake fluid, front and rear. Now if I could just get rid of that annoying clunk the first time I apply the brakes after backing up I would be a really happy camper.

All the ones I've done started out with a little drag, and I've changed them on several different kinds of bikes, too. If you had to push hard against them to move the bike by hand, I'd be concerned; if you don't notice any difference moving it around in the garage, it's ok.

I put the DNA solid polished superspoke rotors front and rear on my 2013 with stock pads...... Had the clunk, it went away, but I still have a ring, or humming sound when I brake. The rotor surface is a little galled now, but I expected that. Once this winter ends, I'm sure it'll all break in nicely.

What did you use to compress the pistons?

I replaced both frt and rear rotors with polished ones, also new pads but when I apply brakes they feel as if they were glazed, bike doesn’t stop well, is that normal fir new brakes?
