If you're looking or in the market for a Magnum stainless steel braided lower line for an ABS bike I have one. I put it on my bike about three months or so ago, but since I'm converting my Street Glide to a Road Glide I had to buy a different line. I'll make someone a good deal on the line.

If you have your 2013 H-D Parts Catalog (document number 99456-13), not to be confused with the Parts and Accessories Catalog, please see the following:

1) Pages 52 and 53 for a diagram and parts list for the front brake line of Non-ABS bike
2) Pages 54 and 55 for a diagram and parts list for the front brake line of ABS bike

I realize that it's your friend who wants to change to a taller bar, and he has a '12 SG. The brake line setup is the same, so the information from the 2013 book will apply. Since I have a 2013 SG, hence the 2013 Parts Catalog, I am only able to give you the page numbers from the 2013 book. I don't have a 2012 book.

I suppose I could scan the pages and post them to help you and your friend, but I'm afraid that will violate the copy right policy we have for the forum.

Ok I'll break it down for you. On the ABS...you can buy a 1 piece line for lever to ABS unit or you can buy 2 piece line to go from lever to abs and it's called the upper and mid brake line. On Non ABS you can buy a 1 piece like what's on yours or a 2 piece where the upper brake line screws into the distribution block that's mounted above your fender and from there down to the calipers. Make sense now.

2010 Limited with some stuff
