Default matte black or gloss black on black denim?

I have a 11 black denim road glide and am not real big on chrome. Id like to black out as much of the bike as possible and I do powder coating as a hobby so I wont have as much money in the job but the question is which would look better on a black demin bike, gloss black to offset the denim or a matte to match it? Just ordered bars that are coming in gloss black and im waiting on an exhaust that will be matte since thats the only option. Opinions and pics please and thanks

I'm reverse. I've a gloss black EGS, and will be doing matte powder coating on it.

I like the way it *breaks it up*.

Gloss will give a little contrast.

I always thought that a denim black with gloss black forks, pipes, and wheels would look awesome. Then I saw a denim black bike that was done up with matte forks, jugs, heads, engine covers and exhaust and it looked really nice so I don't think you can go wrong. I might add that I've had gloss black heat shields on my 09 since new and it still looks fine. [IMG][/IMG]

Depends on the part. Some gloss, some matte, and some wrinkle.

I've started with a total black out of my 12 SG. Mixing Denim black with gloss black.

The only problem with going with gloss black is that I have never found a high temp gloss black powder only matte black high temp. The problem with the lower temp powder is it will keep curing if it gets too hot and turn to a flat black with cure spots. Im not sure how hot the engine covers actually get but im hesitant on spraying the regular gloss black
