Default Do you up your insurance?

When you do updates to your ride, do you update your insurance to match the investment you have in your scoot? I just did, and I'm just wondering how many others on here did. I'm just a little concerned that with the new wheels, my bike might be more appealing to the motorcycle theifs[:@] and want to make sure that if that happens, I can replace it.

Oh yes, we have upgrades and several thousand in chrome.
Cost about $10-$15 dollars extra a year.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
It may help recover some of the investment.

pay about 335/yr.not total coverage but around 70% and I could live with that. ive had the same coverage most of my life and if I had gotten the full inflated version I could have baughten a new bike with the differance.never have had a claim.

Nope. My insurance covers anything I have receipts for so I don't need to update it at all. I even tried to buy extra insurance to cover my chopper and didn't need to - the same insurance as the stock version of the bike is all I need. (State Farm)

I droped my full coverage insurance a month ago. My insurance cost went down $60 a month. It was that or sell the bike it was just costing to much a month to own when you consider the short riding season here. That said I can afford to loose the bike so as they say let the buyer beware.

With my Allied policy I have $3k in extras above the value of the bike covered as a standard. Also includes roadside assistance and towing. $209 for a year.

My insurance covers me for every accessory as long as I have the reciepts to prove it. My first & hopefully only crash happened 10 years ago & my insurance covered me 100%. I had all my records pulled from the dealership & all my reciepts & everything went smooth. I can't imagine riding with the risk of not being able to cover all the extras I spend on my bikes. Like I always say, it's more then just putting up the money for the bike - you needto invest in upkeep/maintence & insurance. You may never need it, but why take such a big gamble. I have two things I can't live without in my life, my wife & bike. You can bet I have both covered!!!
