Looks Amazing! Can't believe how different that chrome looks on the engine and transmission. Like a new bike!

Thanks again for all the compliments! It really is a pretty standard Street Glide now, but that's what I am going for....I'm not into the extended bags and big *** wheels. I like my bikes simple, clean..... And white!

I had to polish the hell out if the chrome while I had the bike apart. But some steel wool cleaned it up with very little effort after a good wash.

As far as the most difficult part...... That's hard to answer, because I was fortunate enough to not have any real issues. I am waiting on a new rear fender harness to wire up the tail light, but from the research I have done I'm not really anticipating to much of an issue (fingers crossed).

I posted pictures to show the transformation, due to the crusty nature the bike was in when I started, as well as to show others how easy it really is to make a swap to a street glide.....or vise verse.

Awesome and Excellent Job !. Now, You can proudly say that my bike's a Street Glide and go messing around with other people's head by telling them...Can't you believe it was an Ultra before?. And see what they got to say, LOL.

Enjoy,

Thorey

A lot of members here talk about turning their Ultras into Stree Glides, but all they really do is chop them down to Ultra Sports. You are the first one here I've seen actually make a true conversion. Well done.

I bought then from a bike shop that builds some stretched out baggers, so I think these were removed to go with aftermarket parts.

Looks good but you should keep the tour pack and do the detachable route. You'll miss the extra storage. And pop it of for everything else.
