Im looking at various different speakers for my bike and i was wondering if anyone has used the following JL speakers and what are their thoughts on them?

Put Polk Audio marine grade speakers on mine. Love em.

 

I got the Polks on my bike and the JL's on my boat. JLs are better IMO.

 

the non marine units are about 50$ less,rubber surrounds and poly cones.

 

I've had JL C2 6.5" components in my lowers and gauge holes nearly 2 years. Blew one of the C2 6.5 coax in the fairing about a year ago, replaced with Polk MM651 which are holding up. Actually liked the JL better but I am half deaf?? Running JL 400/4 amp in fairing and it rocks too.

 

Do the grilles come off the JL marine speakers?
