Default Clutch adjuster

I did my primary and tranny oil change a few weeks ago,so I went ahead and did my clutch adjustment on the bike.I broke loose the jam nut on adjuster and turned clutch adjuster clockwise, I turned the adjuster maybe a full turn after lightly seated.Dont know what I was thinking, since then the clutch is kinda grabby. Is there something I can do to correct this?Ive adjusted clutch cable per manual but it doesn't feel right. Thanks!

Reread your manual. You turn the adjuster BACK after it is lightly seated. You don't turn it further in...

Yep. Just take the derby cover off and start completely over with the adjustment...

Brake the jam nut away from the clutch "cable" adjustment and loosen it all the way until the clutch lever touches the handle bar. brake the nut from within the primary adjustment. while holding in on the clutch lever, with an allan wrench turn the adjuster in and out until you feel the clutch lever moving away from the handle bar. do this multiple times to get a "feel" for when the lever just moves away from the handle bar. tighten up the jam nut within the primary, tighten up the cable adjustment until you have 1/8" of play where the cable meets the handle bar housing. Done!....poor man"s clutch adjustment should now be complete.
