Default Confounded Connectors

Sometimes -- I wonder -- tried to pull a simple connector apart -- all you had to do was depress a button -- pulled and pulled, twisted, etc etc -- somehow the little button broke and its still together -- will need to figure something out so I can get the inside depressed and get it apart.

One of my biggest fears right there. Good luck.

Harley has been using Duetch connectors for the most part for a number of years. These connectors have rubber sealing rings. During assembly, the put a heavy amount of dielectric grease on these rings for a positive seal. Well that seems to work pretty well. When you try to unplug some of these connectors, the seal creates a vacuum inside and resists opening. I don't know what the fix is. Your connector may have to be replaced (just the broken side). Your stealership will have the tools required to pull the wires/pins and re-insert them into a new connector.

had one of mine do that, took a utility knife heated the blade and cut the rest of the tab off then when I put it back together I used a daub of superglue where the tab was. hasn't worked loose in about 3 years now
