Default S&S Airstream air filter cover

I've got the Screamin Eagle air filter kit on my RK with the stock cover on it now. Has anyone tried to fit the S&S airstream cover on the SE air filter? I emailed S&S but never got a reply.

I would like to know this also, I like the idea of the reverse opening, that water can't get in heavy rain.
I like the open AC, but when touring, just one more thing to put on, in the rain.
I don't like the socks on the open design AC, they also restrict air flow.

Maybe Mister S&S can clear this up . . .

I have this cover on my Vance & Hines Naked V02 Air Cleaner. I don't see why it wouldn't fit on your application. It mounts just like the stock football cover does.

It will fit. I've the chrome SE backplate and ran the S&S Airsteam for a while, with a K&N filter. It's a very nice looking cover and looked great with the chrome backplate. Also, if your motor tends to puke crankcase spluge like mine, the S&S cover (like the HD football) catches the goo.

They really dont, but on the other hand, in my experience, they arent necessary anyway.

Thanks everyone for the quick confirmed answer.
The Q bike looks bad azz, looks like you installed a insert to two tone the air cleaner.
