Morning all,
Anyone have a .pdf of this bulletin they could post or email to me. I called and scheduled to have the ignition/lock replacement done on my 06 Ultra this Saturday, and asked about the regulator. The person I talked with said he had not heard anything. My friend and I are heading to South Dakota, from California, on May 3rd and would like to have the voltage regulators replaced beforehand if theyhave a problem. My buddy rides an 06 Road King and his falls into the "needs replacing" too. Thanks much.

 

Thanks, that's what I was looking at but didn't see anything on recalls. If there is a recall out, would I see it here?

 

Not to be stupid but what are these date codes? 4205 (April 2, 2005) ---- 1406 (Jan 4, 2006)? What the heck is mine then? Mine is 0906 (Sept. 2006). Thanks for the help. Bryan

 

My number is 4605 74505-06. It should be subject to the recall. I put my VIN in the HD websitethat gives you info on servicing your bike and it only shows when I need my next oil change, etc.

The last two digits of the date code is the year of manufacture, while the first two digits is the week of the year.

 

Just received notice of this for my bike from HD in the mail today...

 

I received the letter from Harley about this today.

OH man! I just checked mine. It is 1306 Just missed getting out of this one. I have not received a letter yet but will talk to the dealer soon. Thanks for all the info guys.
