Default progressive mono tubes or drop in?

I'm looking into a 21" front wheel what dose everyone prefer the mono tube lowering kit or the drop on springs which is best/ has smoother ride? It's on a 07 street glide

If its a better ride your looking for. This it what I did before spending hundreds of dollars!! I weight 225. Replaced the front fork oil with 10.8 oz each of 15w S/E fork oil heavy.

I also changed the oil in the rears, 10.0 oz each of 10w PRO Honda Suspension fluid P/N 54662-2A SS-55.

The ride is like night and day. Very inexpensive to try before spending hundreds.

I can't give a comparison but I installed the mono tube lowering kit to go with my 21" front and couldn't be happier with it. Great ride and handling so far. I also installed the 944 rear shocks.

i installed the drop ins after putting on a 21" and they ride loads better than stock. there is no nose diving when stopping anymore. i didnt change the fluid yet but i would recommend it and i will do it next time i service the bike. i will put stock type fluid back in because i do like the ride it has now, no nose dive but still soft enough ride for comfort. i would recommend reading reviews on the monotubes and the RaceTech set up. RaceTech is adjustable to each riders preference which can be beneficial. i ride 2up most of the time but even when riding solo the ride is the same

I will be looking to do the same thing in a bout a month. I really want to put in the monotubes in. I hope it improves the handling a little bit.

I did the monotubes before and after I put the 21" front wheel. I had the standard height monotubes which the stock 18" and then I installed the 2" drop monotubes when I installed the 21". I only dropped it 1.5" but really like the performance of the monotubes. Less maintenance too as everything is sealed in the monotube.

I did the Burly Street Slammer kit and it rides and handles great. Drop ins for the front (2"), and 10.5 " shocks rear.

I did the mono tubes in mine and a friend did the HD drop in springs on his. Both are '12 Ultras. The mono tubes ride and handle better hands down. Best bang for your buck in improving your front end.
