To hang it or pipe it

I don't think I could go 7 or more months not knowing if my bike was started or not! It would have to sound like a Harley before I cared if it had bars first, but then again I ride with a tough bunch that always give the stock quiet bike guys a hard time. Nothing like getting ready to leave your favorite diner and everyone's walking by looking at your nice bars and then you start it and they start to wonder if it was a Harley or not.
Say NO to quiet bikes!

Ask yourself this question. Is the full exhaust all you will do? I ask becasue once you get full exhaust you will need a tuner ($400) and a tune ($300). Now if your plan is to also add a new AC then you will have to get another tune (another $300). Also if cams are in your future plan on another tune. So if you plan those other thing get all of them done at the same time so your not having to retune every time.

If the stock bars are uncomfortable for you, do the bars first. Like mentioned, if you're doing full exhaust, you'll be looking at a tuner, high-flow AC, header and slip-ons. If just doing slip-ons it's a toss up, sound or comfort with bars. If it were me, I'd go with a tuner and high-flow AC first, then exhaust and then bars.

Thanks for the responses, I think I am gonna do the bars first because I am wanting black mgs true duals with tts and a heavy breather = a lot more $$ not to mention I want to get it tuned by doc when I move back home to florida in august. (I'm at ft drum in upstate new york now) and I am sure I can piece together my stage 1 by then and put it all on and get it dyno tuned.
