Default Garmin Nuvi 2455 GPS question

I'm looking at the Garmin Nuvi 2455 GPS. With my bank reward points, I can get one for free.

I know that I can keep the unit charged up through the cigrette lighter but I'm wondering about audio. Can you connect the unit by means of an audio jack to the stock stereo? I'm sure I'm not the only one who does not want to pay the outrageous fee for the Zumo line of GPS units.

Thanks!

Since starting this thread, I called Garmin and the tech told me that none of the Nuvi line has the audio capacity. Thus, the reasons for the Zumo line. I'll just stay with my Sumsung Galaxy 3 phone.

The stock radio isn't bluetooth capatable; therefore, my only option is t use a hard wire connection.

I don't think the newer Nuvis have an audio output, but the older ones did like the Nuvi 650. They did away with them when Garmin went with Bluetooth.

I'm not sure of the other GPS brands, but if you're looking at Garmin specifically, some of the non-Nuvi GPS have an audio out. Like the Garmin Montana. This is more of a trail GPS but also has the CityNAV maps. Also cool features are it has satellite imagery, camera, portrait/landscape, and is waterproof.

Kryin, get a bluetooth dongle from ebay or Amazon that plugs into your radio. You'll them be able to stream with any paired device. I believe the one I purchased was a Miccus and paid about 24.00
