Don't let that glue job scare you. No big deal. I changed mine with no problem.

Txn,

HARLEYCHARLIE, just made a post about the new "BDL" comp sprocket. He has ridden a couple miles and said that it feels tight, doesn't make a clunk noise going into first gear.

But as always, time will tell.

I emailed Dark Horse two weeks ago. I was told their comp is still in testing and it would be at least 6 more months. I'm watching results on the BDL

It's been almost two years hasn't it?

DH does great work, better to do it right the first time.

Well unlike the MoCo, which is on like #4 design!

I'm on my First replacement which is the SE comp sprocket (#2, in series) And it's been good so far (knock on wood) 3 years and still going?

Check out HarleyCharles post on the "BDL" comp sprocket.

I was hoping for the DH comp as well but I will hit about 60k or so on the glide this year and currently at 40k still have the original comp.

What year bike? I'm also still on my original comp on my 2010 FLHX. The comp in my bike is old. Its the pre screaming Eagle upgrade that came in later years.

He is riding a 2008. He must have retired, took him five years to put 40K on it, now in one year he is projecting he'll do 20K. I have an '09 that has 40K on it that this has the stock comp in it. I have an SE set up still in the box setting in the garage for when it decides to go belly up. It's the pre-14 SE, so I'm in no hurry to install it. The BDL system looks interesting, I will be looking for feed back on that as users get some miles on it.

I bought it two years ago when it had 10k on it.
