I've been reading where people have been saying to turn off the wifi when using the FP3 or downloading maps with the FP3. Are they speaking of turning wifi off on the phone, bike, or FP3? I'm guessing they are talking about turning the wifi off on the cell phone, is that correct? I think the phone is the only thing with wifi.

 

On a phone, WI-Fi and BT can "compete" for radio signal (especially when W-Fi is looking for a connection) and cause BT to cycle on and off. IF you are having connection issues / upload issues with FP3, try turning off your Wi-Fi. But if you are not having issues, then just leave it on.

 

Hello I've seen that the latest model of FP3 is compatible with latest CVO models (equipped with 117 ci)
Donwloaded the app on IOS and see the demo mode.
Is it me or is there not so many combinations for the muffler ?
For example I did not see the HD Cannons Street Performance Muffler in the HD section.

Another question I have is the following (not answered in the FAQ). Could we backup the original map on the bike before doing any change ?

The FP3 saves the original ECM calibrations (stock map) in the first slot

 

Like stated above, your original map is saved.

As for the available maps, this is a V&H product and is designed to work best with V&H products. The only specific maps are for V&H exhaust. You can use this with many other products, but the maps are less specialized and specific.

The FP3 is constantly updated with new features and functionality. Some people like this, some people like others. I have it, and I really like it. It's fool proof, but you can get into the nitty gritty of tuning.
