It's all been said. It's good to be King!.. I don't go for all the add ons just some strap on luggage,passenger backrest to strap it to,and I can travel light. Don't like fairings,cuts out close proximity vision. Hot rod the motor,and you have the best of all worlds. A big,comfortable bike that hauls *** and hauls the freight.

better keep both if you buy. You will miss the limited. Just strip the limited??

I moved up from a FXDWG and looked at and rode many bikes in the touring line before I pulled the trigger on my RKC. Something about the King kept pulling me back and I don't regret my decision.

I loved my King, but wanted to upgrade to full plastic, thus the Road Glide Ultra I'm riding now.

But - whats not to like about a Road King with apes? I do miss the bike, but not looking back...

sniff...i miss my flhr....

purple 01 with aftermarket batwing for touring...

in 06 lwent to the e'glide cause i thought i would like music and the extra gauges...now hardly ever listen to the tunes...and miss not being able to strip it down...yah i would go for a king again..

and changing the bars on an eglide..$$$

Elemental bike, I like that description of a Road King. I'll have to use that one day.

Well said...I strip mine down in the summer and then add my shield and soft lowers in the winter.
