RE: ? Changing to a Police seat.
I like mine, bought another complete seat kit from eBay, sending one to Allen at Mean City Cycle's for seat mod and recover in leather, then pick up a leather passenger seat, the leather looks great.

I've had the police seat on several of my dressers. I'm running one on my 06 Classic. Bought the matching passenger seat from Mustang. It looks great. Best seat Harley makes... I made a smaller air tank out of PVC and tiewrapped it under a side cover.

RE: ? Changing to a Police seat.
the police seat is the most comfortable i put the air pump underside side cover run the air tube up the frame behind the battery box.this way you don t loose room in the saddle bag or drill a hole in it.also mustang make a excellent matching passenger seat
thats angled so the seat does not hit while moving up and down.i ve left my 2007 as a police bike package and my 2004 i ve converted back to civilian use with the ...sundowner two-up seat which i hate to admitt but its really the most comfortable seat next to the police seat...good luck enjoy the ride no matter which way you go

I have been toying with the idea of buying a police seat and hardware and putting it on my FLHTC, their are several on e-bay cheap. I know I would have to buy a passenger pillon seat. But wouldn't the police seat be more comfortable with the adjustable air ride. Any motor officers please comment also.

RE: ? Changing to a Police seat.
seats are good
This scares me "their are several on e-bay cheap"
if something is cheap there is a reason. How many night mares I have seen just in the last few weeks that started off i found this cheap on ebay and........ now my bike don't run and.....
If you want a good seat short of buya take off from a good friend you likly going to pay for it.
