Default Changing gauge bulbs

I'm considering changing out the gauge bulbs to a tinted color. Anyone removed the cover on the bulbs or replaced with a a tinted bulb?

If so, what were the pros/cons?

The small gauges can be easily changed by going with an LED in your choice of color.

The speedo and tach can be changed by these guys.

Was there a noticeable difference in the light coming off the gauges? What colors did they use?

LED lights are polarity sensitive so check the lights before you put the fairing back on.

i changed the small gauge lights on my roadglide without taking off the outer fairing. just took the headlights out and went in that way.

look around on ebay. i found a seller that was selling the plug in leds (pretty sure they are w194) for $5.00 for 10 with no shipping. i bought 10 in blue and 10 in white.
