LED head lights on RGU, are they worth it?

Thanks for the input. Guess I will have to pony up the money. The stoke lighting is definitely not adequate. Really suprising. How about seats. I had a Russell day long on my last touring bike. Are there any upgraded touring seats that you would recommend. The day long is a perfect solution but you have to send your seat to California for three weeks. Do any of the harley seats provide a comfortable seat for a whole day of riding?

I have a 2013 RGU. Have to use my high beems at night. Low beam is not adequate. No one flashes their lights at me in objection to the high beem. The alternative LED headlights are around $700.
Is this the only alternative? Has anyone done it and is it worth the expense? Thanks in advance for the input.

but, in the meantime, i would suggest that you check your headlight alignment. if you aren't being flashed with your highbeams on, i would think that they are badly out of adjustment.

I have to agree, While it is a HUGE chunk of change to dish out at one time, LED is the way to go. I have the Phase 7 Truck-lites on my `12 EG and all together, I have about 1k just in LED lights. Headlight, driving lights, break lights, turn signals, tour pak side markers and tour pak break lights. The only thing I am missing is the front and rear marker lights. I also got the Kuryakyn total control passing lamp light harness (which allows the use of the driving lights with the high beams). There is no way I can not be seen. Now a buddy of mine put day makers on his RG, and they are bright as Hell!

I installed Daymakers on my 2012 CVO RG and think it was well worth the $700. Nighttime illumination was spectacular, and my riding buddies said they could really see the LEDs during the day. Even if you don't ride at night, it will dramatically improve your daytime visibility.
