Default black exhaust heat shield for 06 or new headers?

i want to black out the exhaust on my bike, is it easier to get black heat shields for the stock pipes, or should i just look into ordering all new head pipes? if the latter, what do yall recommend? my main concern is to try to keep the bike fairly quiet (currently got Hooker Tuned Flow slip-ons, loud as hell)

Most powder-coaters can do it.

Make sure it's Ceramic coating and not regular powder coating. Powder won't hold up to the heat and it discolors. I used http://www.electrotechcoatings.com/ to do mine, great works and customer service.
