Default Daymaker vs Daymaker reflector

There has been a lot of talk about the cut off of the LED headlights when cornering and I know some have said the Daymaker has a sharp cutoff when cornering. A couple on here said they did or were going to switch to the reflector style LED Daymaker. I would really like to hear how the reflector version of the Daymaker is when cornering compared to the projector version and even the TLP7. Thanks!

I've got the Daymaker reflector on order. I'll let you know what I think as soon as I get it slapped in. I know several folks have it installed but have not been able to ride because of weather.

The Reflector I have on my SGS is a definite improvement over the Phase 7 I had on my Limited. JMHO.

I'm looking forward to trying out the reflector when it decides to warm up! I guessing not much different difference from the TL7, just the reflector reflector looks better, imo

The Reflector has 3 LEDs, where the TL only has one. There is a difference.

I agree with OP and would really like to get some objective info on the reflector. Its a big deal to have oncoming traffic see me. I'm concerned about the visiblilty I have with the light that came on the '14.

I have enough problems already with people turning in front of me.

Yes, the Daymaker Reflector has 3 LEDs but the TL7 has 2, not just one. I have the TL7 on my Limited now but will be swapping in the Daymaker Reflector soon. The parts manager says it is definitely brighter than the TL7. It should also look better with my spots since the TL7 has a smoked look caused by the black divider where the HD has a chrome divider.

I knew there was talk of people ordering or installing but I guess with the crappy weather in most areas y'all have been able to test it or it hasn't arrived yet. I look forward to hearing the reviews!! Thanks guys!

Thumbs up

I have the reflector, it's a huge improvement over stock. Worth the money in my opinion.
