Default What are the difference in lowers?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some fairing speaker lowers. I want to get more sound/power from my DB651 speakers, hogtunes tweeter and Soundstream Amp.

So, I'm looking at the Mutzua lowers. They're listed/identified as, "6.5 Speaker Lower Fairing" and being sold for $199 plus $30 shipping. It comes with Speaker Pods with 4" Sony Speakers ( 3.2 ohms).

I notice that alot of guys here bought lowers off of ebay from a popular company called,"tmshelmet". These lowers are identified as,"Vivid Black Lower Vented Leg Fairings For Harley Touring Road King Electra Glide". I've seen prices on ebay range from $93.99 - $113.50. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOWER-VENTED...775d8e&vxp=mtr

Here's my issue, is there a difference between the Mutzua 6.5 lowers vs. the ebay lowers? My specific goal is to add 6.5 inch speakers and I don't know if that's easily possible with the tmshelmet version.

Thanks for any assistance ya'll can provide.

From what I've seen and can tell...No difference. They are all coming from China. Just different vendors selling them to you.

Default tmshelmet

Some folks on the forum have had good luck with tmshelmet, I didn't. Farings came spotted from putting bubble wrap on before the paint was dry. Then misaligned standoff. Sent me broken used part for replacement. After opening a case with ebay took over 6 weeks to get this done and ended up them giving me 30.00 to use the broken part. Got nothing but a run around from the people on the phone. Save yourself an ordeal and if the fairings have any damage send them back right away and don't mess mwith these people.

I think I'm gonna go with Mutazu. Other than making fun of their company, I can't find any logical reason not to go with them. And, maybe it's a marketing ploy but since they specifically said that it's for 6.5 inch speakers, I feel more comfortable. And, it comes with speaker pods. Heck, for $230.00 plus they give a 20% discount to HDforum members. I think I'll put an order in now.

Cant speak to the difference, from what ive seen they are all the same from China, look the same and even have same mold makings.

Mine are from fairing factory and Im happy with them. But that said a lot of guys over at RGorg buy from Matazu and are also happy with resilts. if you are going with matazu, call in your order and ask for patricia or Gina and tell them you are a Forum member they have been giving 10% discount and they hand inspect the piece before shipping to be sure you dont have one of the ones with a flaw (usually paint , lemon peel from what ive heard)

I bought the Matazu and the quality was perfect no flaws. And I bought the quick disconnect kit all fit perfect.
