Planning on upgrading the system. I just can't take the high pitched ear piercing sounds from the stock system. I have to turn it up so the wife can hear it and it just grates on my nerves and pisses me off to no end.
The biketronics and J&M stuff is kinda pricey for me when there are suitable mini amps and marine grade speakers out there. Have you heard some of the systems on these wake boarding boats?
Here are my plans and my questions.

Amp??? Should I go with a 2 channel or plan ahead for future lids/pods and get the 4 channel? If I go with the 4 channel are there any downsides to only running front and nothing connected to the rear?
Of these amps or any other amp manufacturers which is the best bang for the buck?
Arc audio ks125.2 or ks125.4, Rockford Fosgate PBR300x2 or PBR300x4

For speakers, I am looking at the Polk MM651 for the fairing. Will I need the Boom grills or will the stock ones work? Some think there would be an issue with running these speakers (2.7ohms) with the RF (4 ohms) amp, whereas the Arc is rated to 2 ohms. Any other speaker recommendations that won't break the bank?

These prices are all on ebay BTW. Sure beats the hell out of $1000 plus with comparable or even better quality sound (not just loud). Anything would be better than the stock system even though it is pretty good until you have to crank it.
