Default Cams and Bearings

2000 Stock flht, everyone knows about the cam bearing thing. I opted to
leave mine alone and went with the Harley 5 year 50k mile if anything goes
wrong they would take care of it warrenty. Now have 70k miles and over
7 years on original cams and bearings with no problems so I be looking to
change them out?
Thanks,
Saint

Default RE: Cams and Bearings

My bike was a "bad bearing" bike also. I choose to ride out the warranty, too. I never had any problems. However, when it hit 50k miles, I ordered up the parts to do the swap. I didn't want to risk being left stranded or all the potential engine damage that could have occurred if the bearings had failed.

Thanks for the reply XXX will get them changed out for this riding
season. Also looks like the 26G is the cam of choice will go that
route. Thank again;
Saint
