Now we have information that is helpful in clearing up the confusion.
The conversion done on your wife's bike changed the mounting to that of the pre '97 FLH.
I had the stock seat on my '05 Electraglide Classic and it worked well for me for 12 hrs/650 mile days and also worked well for my wife as a passenger From your picture it looks like you have the same seat on your Road Glide.
I am sorry that my initial confusion came across as trying to show my big brain but you haven't exactly made this easy by berating folks who are asking questions and trying to clarify the situation.
Good luck with your search.

So he has a aftermarket tourpak mount. That explains a lot. And yes, my '03 had a detachable TP mount, from HD, it had no attachment point for the passenger pillion, just two latches and rolled forward to lift off from around the seat. I had a Mustang two piece seat on it for awhile, had the original two piece seat on it when purchased WITH the TP on it. Never seen a attachment point on a TP mount until now on ANY HD product.

Again my Question, implied, is "Anybody have a preferred aftermarket Touring Seat to mount like a RK, EG , RG.

I already have a 'Captain Obvious" at my local HD Outlet.

Thanks
You're going to attract more flies (help) with honey than you will with crap. Or maybe not. You are just not very clear in your first post as to what you are asking. Good luck in your quest.

The question you continue to note isn't a question and doesn't make any sense. Plus, anyone who has asked you for further info in an attempt to help you has gotten a smart A?? response / comment from you. Good luck to you, I hope you figure out what your question is as us lowly humans can't.

Sorry, but a Champion Sidecar conversion is not motor company supplied, maybe dealer not HD.

Ok I think I get it. If your wanting a solo seat and wondering how your going to mount it?

Well there are 2 bolts under the seat were a handle bar mounts for the passenger. That is were you mount the solo. They make a fender bib that mounts from there to the bolt on the seat for a cleaner look.

Hope that's what your looking for.

Also they changed seat mounting in 97 so the mounts between your 96 and 97 will be different.
