Performance wise I doubt theres any noticeable performance difference between the two. So then it comes down to fit, finish, quality, durablity, customer service. How do these compare? Are Cobras made from 16ga? I've heard S&S has had some issue with mounts and bolts breaking? Do they both have a full size cross-over pipe? Which would you pick?

I installed the Cobra Power Port duals on my bike this past week, the easiest install ever. They do come with full size crossover and they sure look and sound good with my Rienhart slipons.Dont know much about the S&S header, but they look similar.

Fullsize crossover, that's a big plus. Are they made from 16ga ?
Dont know if there made of 16 gauge steel, dont know if that makes a difference or not. They look well made, I just put them on and rode off.I dont think Cobra would make a flimsy header would they?......
Depends on the year of your bike with the S&S Power Tune duals. I have them on my 07 street glide and I scrap the right side on the clamp right where the main pipe attaches to the cross under the Trans cover. Fit was good with no problems. Performance, compared to my True Duals, not much difference, but a lot less heat on the back of my left leg.
