Default Super Premium Oil Filters – 98.5 Reasons to Consider

Found this today, first time I have ever seen the efficiency rating advertised for a Harley filter. Did a quick search and this is the only dealer I could find listing this advertisement. Could not find it on the Harley site.

I hate it when they say "brand A/B/C" it makes me think they are telling a story

Ya think? They also don't publish an api oil spec for their motorcycles or put one on their 12.00/qt. Synthetic oil.

The article mentions:
<<The Super Premium Oil Filter is 100% synthetic and has an efficient capture of at least 98.5% of contaminants as small as 5 microns.>>
Perhaps a bit of clarification would be helpful, such as the nature of the contaminant, time to collect or number of passes through the filter media to obtain the collection of 98.5% of "the contaminants".
