…… that solo mount of the new style TP is a sweet, clean look.
…….. since you've got a good backrest on your solo seat, I'd forego any backrest pad, it looks real smooth just the way it is !

……… prob'ly gonna have'ta paint/powdercoat the latch & hinges though

I was looking into powdering mine but the latch has a bunch of small plastic pieces in it so I guess I'm gonna have to live with it. Probably couldn't get it back together if I took it apart.

Yea I'm really torn on this I ordered the chopped backrest just cant figure out it the T/P looks lacking without it.

If you're never gonna need it for two up riding I would just plug the holes and leave it as is. You don't even notice the no backrest thing with the way your bike is set up. Save some coin and work on finding a fix for the holes.

go with the c&c 'banana' pad. that polishes off the look pretty good and wouldn't interfere with your backrest.

That's an idea but I'm sure your correct with the redesign of the tour Pak. Now that I have it mounted I think it would look ok with out a pad I'm not going to be drilling any new holes until I'm sure !
