Way to fix 08 Road King Engine Vibration?
#31
at idle the motor should shake in the frame a good amount, say maybe back and forth an inch or so..if it doesn't that means there is something binding it up so that the vibration goes into the frame...check the engine mounts to make sure they are flexing as they should also check the exhaust to make sure it is not binding on something...riding it more may actually help to soften the rubber in the engine mounts to break them in, as they may have gotten hard from not enough use...I have heard of people replaceing the engine mount thanking it would help with vibration and making it worse because the new mounts are less flexible then the old ones...

Tried the rear brake thing noticed a slight difference at least enough that my eyeballs and everything I look at don't rattle so much. Front end motor mount bolt appears to be binding so I'll have mechanic look at it. If doesn't help dealer showed me a part that appears to act as a dampener that attaches from frame to engine that may try out.
