Been seeing so much on news about how crappy the weather is in most of the country. It's been damp and foggy here but at least not freezing. But today, things cleared up and I HAD to go for a nice long ride. Here's a photo from Longbranch, WA with Mt. Rainier in the background.

One week ago today I rode up to Alder dam Wa. I admit my hands froze.
But I did get a awesome shot of Mount Rainier with one big (sp) lenticular cloud cloud over it.

 

You guys are very lucky!! It has been snowing up here since early November and probably will continue to snow until late march.

Aw well I'm sure these next 2 months will fly by, hahaha

I was stationed at Fort Lewis form 04-09...... Never got to ride too much, the weather was pretty crappy through hose years, and that dumb *** war took some of my time....... But I really miss seeing that mountain every day. I loved riding Tacoma and Seattle area, all the way down to Eugene, OR.....lots to see, lots of things to do.

Pacific Northwest will always have been my favorite assignment in the Army, Washington is such a beautiful state!
