Default Paint Inner fairing different color than rest of bike

Has anyone painted their inner fairing a different color than the rest of the bike? I am thinking about doing this to give the bike some contrast, but I'm undecided on what color. The rest of the bike is Red Hot Sunglo.

If you have doe this, do you have any pics? What color did you offset with?

I have to replace my inner and outer fairing from a minor accident. Bike is Brilliant Silver, I've searching eBay and found blue painted inner and thought about doing that. On Red Hot Sunglo I am thinking YELLOW!!!

GLOSS BLACK!

I have a Red Hot Sunglo Street Glide. I originally did the inner fairing in the same color...oh, man...way too much red!

I had the inner fairing and the fairing cap repainted in gloss black...much better! Gives really good contrast and and looks sharp as hell, if I do say so myself!

I'm at the office right now and don't have my pictures here...if you would like, I can post some this evening.

If I was to do my inner fairing I don't think I'd go with the Red Sunglo like my bike..
I think a black or a gray/silver would work nicely

Take a look at the 14 Street Glide Specials. At least you'll know what the various colors look like with a gloss black inner.

SEJE8 I like how you did the dash pad along with your GPS mount. I did the same thing on my Ultra Limited. The gloss black looks good, that's why the MOCO went that way on the 2014s.

To the OP: With SEJE8s as example, I think a deep silver or titanium. I think the dash pad also looks good and ads some contrast. Please post pictures to this thread when you decide and complete the project.

IMHO.....I think the same color inner fairing is the way to go.....I think it will take away from the bike if you paint it a different color....

I still have my gloss black inner fairing in my garage if I ever want to switch back..
