Default Road King Bars/Cables

I have just purchased a 2008 Road King Classic and want to change to 4" bars to 8" bars. does anyone know if existing cables will reach or will new cables be required? Any info is appreciated.

I went with WO 515 (10's) and I have to change my throttle cables and brake line...extended wires....I thought my existing cables and brake line were stock and would reach but no luck...clutch cable was fine...

I had 10's no problem. Changed risers to 5-1/2", + the 10's; wiring was still long enough to reach inside nacelle. I am using chrome spiral wrap over the stock black vinyl so it fits in with the braided SS lines.

Used + 6" on the clutch and throttle, + 8 on the brake line from the cylinder to the cross.

I need to update my pics now, as soon as I finish bleeding the PITA brakes!

I switched from the stock bars to a WO 513's (8.5) with no wire and cable extensions.

Thanks for all the info. From the input looks like 8" will work with no other mods.
