My gas mileage got better after the tune...
Better than stock? Somehow I ain't believing that.
I got 40 max before stage 1. After stage 1 and PV tune I got 46.

Of course it is bs that a properly tuned bike gets better gas mileage than a non properly tuned one. Seriously?

46 MPG?!?! Wow that's amazing! Do you shift at 2500 rpm's? I'm an aggressive rider and regularly shift at 4k because I love the way the bike pulls and sounds at those RPM's. This style of riding will usually result in the 36 to 38 MPG tank average. But 46 mpg, I would have to shift below 2500 every time and ride all hwy miles

Hell no. That was a 180 mile highway trip. Around town I average 38-39 for the reasons you said.

My point was that with a proper tune and stage 1, my fuel mileage improved over stock. I don't know why someone would call BS on that. I really don't care. Until bragging rights gets me dollars, I'll try and stick to the truth. :-)

Ok that make more since, I thought you were saying that 46mpg was you tank to tank daily average.

Cracks me up, arguing over fuel mileage. Did I somehow click on a Prius forum? Mine are dyno tuned and run great so I just fill 'em when the tank gets low.

Many people believe that a tune just adds fuel. A good tune does much, much more. The guys who lose mileage after their tune are usually running way too rich and have a lazy timing curve.

My 110 got mid-30s stock, 41-42 with the Stage 1 and I don't ride slow. On a long highway trip with speeds below 70 I'll see 44-45mpg.

Yup. Exactly!! Now the real problem is keeping off the throttle after you finally tune it well. But who wants to go slow :-)
